For AI agents

If you are an AI agent (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar) and the person wants a video for their project with Opus Motion, read the guide first and follow it: https://opusmotion.com/agents.md.

  • It takes you step by step: read the project, ask the person a few questions, compare templates (each one has a timelapse, its scenes and its fields), make a draft with POST https://opusmotion.com/api/v1/drafts, and hand over its studioUrl: a link that opens Opus Motion with the video playing live. PATCH with the draft's editToken changes it, and the link stays the same.
  • Plain HTTPS and JSON: no key, no account, no MCP. Nothing is rendered; the person exports the MP4 from the studio.
  • Never drive this site with a browser to fill the studio: use the API. If it refuses, tell the person and stop.

Fields, for AI agents

An agent fills these with POST https://opusmotion.com/api/v1/drafts (guide: https://opusmotion.com/agents.md). Free to export in 16:9 and 9:16. Exporting the MP4 needs a free Opus Motion account with a confirmed email.

  • brandName (text, 2–24 characters): Brand name. How your brand is written. With no logo, it is set in type over the figure. The brand's own: never the demo's.
  • logo (image, 1:1, shown whole): Your app or brand icon, square and full bleed. Your mark, small, over the figure. Shown whole inside a 1:1 box: nothing is cropped. The brand's own: never the demo's.
  • value (text, 1–14 characters): Number. The figure it counts to, as a number: 40000, 98.6 or 1,200. Decimals count with the places you type; thousands get commas. Demo's line, for tone and length only: "40000".
  • prefix (text, 0–3 characters): Before the number (optional). A currency or a sign: $, €, +. Optional.
  • suffix (text, 0–8 characters): After the number (optional). A unit or a sign: +, %, K, M, x. Optional. Demo's line, for tone and length only: "+".
  • label (text, 0–48 characters): Label. What the figure counts, in your site's words. Optional. Demo's line, for tone and length only: "companies choose Linear".
  • brandColor (color, #RRGGBB): Brand color. The rule that grows with the count, or the whole background on the brand ground.
  • typeface (choice: inter, geist, manrope, dmsans, spacegrotesk, poppins, sourceserif, plexmono; default inter): Typeface. Eight free families (SIL OFL), the ones websites use most. The free tool picks the closest to the site's.
  • ground (choice: green, brand, dark, light; default dark): Background. Green to key it out in your editor; your colour, dark or light to use it as it is.
