For AI agents

If you are an AI agent (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar) and the person wants a video for their project with Opus Motion, read the guide first and follow it: https://opusmotion.com/agents.md.

  • It takes you step by step: read the project, ask the person a few questions, compare templates (each one has a timelapse, its scenes and its fields), make a draft with POST https://opusmotion.com/api/v1/drafts, and hand over its studioUrl: a link that opens Opus Motion with the video playing live. PATCH with the draft's editToken changes it, and the link stays the same.
  • Plain HTTPS and JSON: no key, no account, no MCP. Nothing is rendered; the person exports the MP4 from the studio.
  • Never drive this site with a browser to fill the studio: use the API. If it refuses, tell the person and stop.

Make it yours

Paste your website and the template comes out with your logo, colors and words: https://opusmotion.com/studio/t68-lower-third?mode=yours. To open it already filled from a website, add &site=yourdomain.com.

Fields, for AI agents

An agent fills these with POST https://opusmotion.com/api/v1/drafts (guide: https://opusmotion.com/agents.md). Free to export in 16:9 and 9:16. Exporting the MP4 needs a free Opus Motion account with a confirmed email.

  • brandName (text, 2–24 characters): Brand name. How your brand is written. With no logo, its initial goes in the mark's square. The brand's own: never the demo's.
  • logo (image, 1:1, shown whole): Your app or brand icon, square and full bleed. Your square mark: it sits in the square next to the name. Shown whole inside a 1:1 box: nothing is cropped. The brand's own: never the demo's.
  • personName (text, 2–28 characters): Speaker's name. The name on the colour block. Demo's line, for tone and length only: "Karri Saarinen".
  • personTitle (text, 0–40 characters): Title or detail. A role, a company or a handle. Empty: the name alone. Optional. Demo's line, for tone and length only: "Co-founder and CEO, Linear".
  • brandColor (color, #RRGGBB): Brand color. The name's block. The name on it is white or black, whichever reads better.
  • typeface (choice: inter, geist, manrope, dmsans, spacegrotesk, poppins, sourceserif, plexmono; default inter): Typeface. Eight free families (SIL OFL), the ones websites use most. The free tool picks the closest to the site's.
  • style (choice: block, line; default block): Style. Block: the name on your colour and the title on a dark plate. Line: a bar in your colour and the text alone.
  • ground (choice: green, dark, light; default dark): Background. Green to key it out in your editor; dark or light to use it as it is.
