# Add your logo to a video, straight from your website

Paste your website and your logo comes from it, or upload a PNG or SVG. Choose the corner, the size and the opacity, see it on your video, and get it back as an MP4 with your logo on every frame. Free, no sign-up, and your video never leaves your device.

Your file never leaves your device: the tool runs inside your browser. Up to 500 MB and 2 minutes. Use it at https://opusmotion.com/tools/add-logo-to-video.

## How to use it

1. Drop your video, or tap the box to pick it: MP4, MOV, WebM and the other common formats.
2. Get your logo: paste your website and it's read from there, or upload a PNG, SVG or JPG. If you already read your site on Opus Motion, it's here.
3. Choose the corner or the middle, the size and the opacity, and see it on your video.
4. Add the logo and download the MP4, or put the clip in a launch template.

The first time, your browser downloads the video engine (31 MB, once); after that it opens from the cache.

## Questions

### How do I add a logo to a video?

Drop the video here, get your logo from your website or upload it, choose where it goes, its size and its opacity, and press Add the logo. You get an MP4 with the logo on every frame.

### Is my video uploaded anywhere?

No. The logo is put on the video inside your browser, with ffmpeg compiled to WebAssembly, and your video never leaves your device. To read your logo from your website, our server reads that site's public page, as a browser would. The first time, your browser downloads the video engine (31 MB, once); after that it opens from the cache.

### How do I make a watermark?

Choose a corner, a small size and an opacity of 60% or 40%: the logo stays visible without covering the video. It becomes part of the picture, so it can't be removed or turned off.

### Which logo file works best?

An SVG or a PNG with a transparent background: it sits on the video with no box around it. A JPG keeps its background. When the tool reads your website, it takes the SVG in your site's header when there is one.

### Does adding a logo lower the quality?

The video is re-encoded once with the logo in it, at a quality close to the original and up to 1,920 pixels on its long side. The sound is kept as it was when it's AAC, as in most MP4 and MOV files.

### How long can the video be?

Up to 2 minutes and 500 MB. On a phone or low-memory device: 1 minute and 200 MB. The video is re-encoded on your device, which takes a while: on a recent computer, three to five times the video's length at 1080p depending on the browser, and less for a smaller video.
