# Loop video: repeat a clip as many times as you need

Repeat any clip a set number of times, or until it reaches a length, as one MP4. MP4, MOV, WebM and more. Free, no sign-up.

Your file never leaves your device: the tool runs inside your browser. Clips up to 1 GB by copy; re-encoding up to 500 MB and 2 minutes (200 MB and 1 minute on a phone or low-memory device). The looped video can last up to 30 minutes and weigh up to 1 GB. Use it at https://opusmotion.com/tools/loop-video.

## How to use it

1. Choose how many times the clip plays, or how long the video should last.
2. Drop your video, or tap the box to pick it.
3. H.264 and HEVC clips are repeated as they are, in seconds; other formats are converted to H.264 once, then repeated.
4. Download the MP4, or put the clip in a launch template.

The first time, your browser downloads the video engine (31 MB, once); after that it opens from the cache.

## Questions

### How do I loop a video?

Pick how many times it should play (2×, 3×, 5×, 10× or another number) or how long it should last, then drop the video. The MP4 plays the clip that many times, back to back.

### Can I loop a video to an exact length?

Yes: choose a length, like 15 seconds, 30 seconds or a minute, or type one. The clip repeats until then, and the last repeat stops where the time ends.

### Does looping lose quality?

Not for H.264 and HEVC videos, which most phones, cameras and screen recorders make: they're repeated as they are, without re-encoding. Other formats are encoded to H.264 once, at a quality setting close to the original.

### Will the loop be seamless?

Each repeat starts right after the last one ends, with no gap. For a loop with no visible jump, use a clip whose last frame matches its first, or make a boomerang with the reverse video tool.

### How long can the looped video be?

Up to 30 minutes and 1 GB, from a clip of up to 1 GB by copy. Re-encoding takes clips up to 500 MB and 2 minutes on a computer, or 200 MB and 1 minute on a phone or low-memory device. The video is kept in your browser's memory until you download it, so a phone may not manage the largest ones.

### Is my video uploaded anywhere?

No. It's looped inside your browser and never sent to a server. The first time, your browser downloads the video engine (31 MB, once); after that it opens from the cache.
