For AI agents
If you are an AI agent (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar) and the person wants a video for their project with Opus Motion, read the guide first and follow it: https://opusmotion.com/agents.md.
- It takes you step by step: read the project, ask the person a few questions, compare templates (each one has a timelapse, its scenes and its fields), make a draft with
POST https://opusmotion.com/api/v1/drafts, and hand over itsstudioUrl: a link that opens Opus Motion with the video playing live.PATCHwith the draft'seditTokenchanges it, and the link stays the same. - Plain HTTPS and JSON: no key, no account, no MCP. Nothing is rendered; the person exports the MP4 from the studio.
- Never drive this site with a browser to fill the studio: use the API. If it refuses, tell the person and stop.

Online teleprompter that records you while you read
Paste your script and it scrolls at the speed you set, in a size you can read from where you sit, mirrored for a teleprompter glass if you use one. Your camera and microphone record you while you read, on your phone or your computer. Free, no sign-up, and the recording never leaves your device.
Use it at https://opusmotion.com/tools/teleprompter.
How to use it
- Paste or type your script.
- Set the speed in words per minute, the text size and the countdown. Turn on Mirror if you read it off a teleprompter glass.
- Leave Record on to film yourself, allow the camera and the microphone, and press Start.
- Read as the text scrolls past the line near the top, close to the camera. Tap the screen or press the space bar to pause; the arrow keys change the speed.
- Stop, watch the take, then download it or record another one.
Questions
Is this online teleprompter free?
Yes. It needs no account, adds no watermark and has no limit on scripts. Recordings are limited to 500 MB and 2 minutes on a computer, or 200 MB and 1 minute on a phone or low-memory device. It runs in your browser, on your own device.
Is my recording uploaded anywhere?
No. The camera and the microphone are recorded by your browser and the take stays in this tab until you download it. Nothing is sent to a server unless you choose to put the recording in a launch template.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. On a phone it uses the front camera, and the reading line sits near the top of the screen, close to the lens, so your eyes stay near the camera while you read. Hold the phone upright for a vertical video, or sideways for a horizontal one.
How fast should the text scroll?
It starts at 130 words per minute, an unhurried pace for reading to a camera. Change it with the slider or, while you read, with the arrow keys, until it matches the way you speak. The tool shows how long your script takes at that speed.
What is mirror mode for?
A teleprompter glass reflects the screen placed under it, so the text reaches you back to front. Mirror flips the script so it reads the right way in the glass. The recording is never mirrored.
Does the script show up in the video?
No. The recording is only your camera and your microphone; the scrolling text is for your eyes.
What format is the recording?
Your browser chooses: Safari and many versions of Chrome and Edge record MP4, while Firefox and some others record WebM. Both play in browsers and most editors, and the WebM to MP4 tool turns a WebM into an MP4 without uploading it.
