For AI agents
If you are an AI agent (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar) and the person wants a video for their project with Opus Motion, read the guide first and follow it: https://opusmotion.com/agents.md.
- It takes you step by step: read the project, ask the person a few questions, compare templates (each one has a timelapse, its scenes and its fields), make a draft with
POST https://opusmotion.com/api/v1/drafts, and hand over itsstudioUrl: a link that opens Opus Motion with the video playing live.PATCHwith the draft'seditTokenchanges it, and the link stays the same. - Plain HTTPS and JSON: no key, no account, no MCP. Nothing is rendered; the person exports the MP4 from the studio.
- Never drive this site with a browser to fill the studio: use the API. If it refuses, tell the person and stop.

Change a GIF's speed, or reverse it
Make an animated GIF faster or slower, from a quarter of its speed to four times as fast, play it backwards, or forwards and then backwards. Free, no sign-up, and your GIF never leaves your device.
Your file never leaves your device: the tool runs inside your browser. Up to 50 MB. Use it at https://opusmotion.com/tools/gif-speed-changer.
How to use it
- Choose the speed and the direction: forwards, backwards, or there and back.
- Drop your GIF, or tap the box to pick it.
- Download the new GIF.
The first time, your browser downloads the video engine (31 MB, once); after that it opens from the cache.
Questions
How do I speed up a GIF?
Choose 1.5×, 2×, 3× or 4× and drop the GIF. Each frame is shown for less time, so the whole animation plays faster.
How do I slow down a GIF?
Choose 0.75×, 0.5× or 0.25×: each frame stays on screen longer, and no frame is lost.
How do I reverse a GIF?
Choose Backwards and leave the speed at 1×, or change it too. Boomerang plays the GIF forwards and then backwards, so it loops smoothly.
Why does a very fast GIF drop frames?
Browsers show a frame delay shorter than 2 hundredths of a second as about a tenth, so a GIF sped past 50 frames per second would play slower, not faster. The tool drops frames instead and keeps the speed you chose.
Does the file get bigger?
A boomerang has twice the frames, so it's about twice the size. A faster GIF that drops frames gets smaller; a slower or reversed one stays about the same.
Is my GIF uploaded anywhere?
No. It's changed inside your browser and never leaves your device. The first time, your browser downloads the video engine (31 MB, once); after that it opens from the cache.
