If you are an AI agent (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar) and the person wants a video for their project with Opus Motion, read the guide first and follow it: https://opusmotion.com/agents.md.

  • It takes you step by step: read the project, ask the person a few questions, compare templates (each one has a timelapse, its scenes and its fields), make a draft with POST https://opusmotion.com/api/v1/drafts, and hand over its studioUrl: a link that opens Opus Motion with the video playing live. PATCH with the draft's editToken changes it, and the link stays the same.
  • Plain HTTPS and JSON: no key, no account, no MCP. Nothing is rendered; the person exports the MP4 from the studio.
  • Never drive this site with a browser to fill the studio: use the API. If it refuses, tell the person and stop.

Number counter animation: a count up in your brand

Type the number, a prefix like $ and a suffix like K or %, choose how long it counts, and watch it play with your brand's colors and type. Export it as an MP4 on green screen or on your brand color. The preview is free, no sign-up.

How to use it

  1. Type the number it counts to, and a prefix ($, €, +) or a suffix (K, M, %, users) if it has one.
  2. Add a label under it, like "customers" or "in revenue", and choose how many seconds the count takes.
  3. Paste your website to take its colors and type, and pick green screen or your brand color as the background.
  4. Watch it play in 16:9 and 9:16, then export the MP4.

Questions

How do I make a number count up in a video?

Type the number and how long the count should take; the animation starts at zero and eases into your number, then holds it. Export the MP4 and put it in your video, or use it as it is for a social post.

Can it count to a decimal, a percentage or money?

Yes. Decimals count with the same number of decimal places you type (98.6 counts in tenths), and the prefix and suffix stay in place while the digits change: $1.2M, 98.6%, +250 users.

Do the digits jump around while it counts?

No: the digits are tabular, every digit takes the same width, so the number doesn't shake as it changes.

Can I put the counter over my own video?

Export it on green screen and key out the green in your editor (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or OBS). On your brand color it works as a video on its own.

How long is the video?

The count takes from 1 to 5 seconds, as you choose, and the number then holds on screen; the video lasts 8 seconds in 1920 × 1080 (16:9) and 1080 × 1920 (9:16).

Is it free?

The preview is free and needs no account. The MP4 is exported from Opus Motion's studio with a free account, within the free exports of each day.
