For AI agents

If you are an AI agent (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar) and the person wants a video for their project with Opus Motion, read the guide first and follow it: https://opusmotion.com/agents.md.

  • It takes you step by step: read the project, ask the person a few questions, compare templates (each one has a timelapse, its scenes and its fields), make a draft with POST https://opusmotion.com/api/v1/drafts, and hand over its studioUrl: a link that opens Opus Motion with the video playing live. PATCH with the draft's editToken changes it, and the link stays the same.
  • Plain HTTPS and JSON: no key, no account, no MCP. Nothing is rendered; the person exports the MP4 from the studio.
  • Never drive this site with a browser to fill the studio: use the API. If it refuses, tell the person and stop.

A launch video for your app

Show the app the way people will use it: your icon, your real screens and one clear line, in a video that holds up in a feed. Paste your website and each template comes out with your logo, colors and words.

Templates for it

Path to the App

Path to the App, made for Duolingo

A 10-second loop: your app icon drops into the current node of a learning path, is pressed like a chunky button and opens into a phone with your real screen; three giant words on the beat, your claim with a hand-drawn underline, a CTA that floods the frame with your colour, your logo. Pickup Reel

Pickup Reel, made for Bolt

A 20-second footage reel for a real-world service: your hero line lands with a 3D full stop, a route shoots out of it and opens into your footage, cuts slam on the beat under giant pills, your app screen gets tapped, a 3D object rises out of the phone, your number rolls on your colour, your footage drops in as pins along the route and they all become the dot of your logo. What an app launch video needs

  • Your real screens: the phone in each template shows the screenshots you upload.
  • Your app icon early, so people know what to look for in the store.
  • One line that says what the app does, in your store listing's words.
  • A vertical version for Reels, TikTok and Shorts: every template here also comes in 9:16, designed for the tall screen.
  • A last frame that says where to get it.

How to make it here

  1. Pick a template below: the free loops run 8 to 10 seconds for a feed, the premium films run about 17 to 22 seconds for a launch post.
  2. Paste your website: your logo, colors and copy go in. Then upload your screenshots to the phone's screen.
  3. Export 16:9 for your landing page and YouTube, and 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts. Each format is its own export.
  4. Post it on launch day and keep it at the top of your landing page, next to the store badges.

Questions

### Can I show my real app screens? Yes. The phone in each template shows the screenshots you upload, cropped to its screen. Use real screens of your app.

### Can I use it as my App Store preview video? Not as it is. Apple's App Store previews may only use video screen captures of the app itself, and these templates add motion design around your screens. Use them on your landing page, in social posts and in ads.

### Which format for TikTok and Reels? 9:16. Every template on this page comes in 16:9 and in 9:16, each one designed for its screen, and each format is its own export.

### Is it free? Free templates export in 1080p at no cost. Premium ones are priced per export, paid once, and each card shows its price.
